A slim 60-inch curved heat strip that keeps food warm and lights it with LEDs on buffet and serving lines.
The Hatco Glo-Ray GR5AHL-60 is a high watt curved infrared strip heater for front-of-house buffet and serving lines. The curved aluminum housing is only 2" high and 6" deep, and dual LED lights run its full 60" length. A pre-focused metal-sheathed element puts out 1416 watts to hold food at serving temperature without cooking it further. A remote control box with an infinite heat control and an on/off switch comes with it; it runs heat and lights, or lights or heat alone. Voltage is 120, 208 or 240 single phase, chosen at order.
Plan the control box location before you order: longer power and LED leads must be ordered with the unit.
The patented curved housing is 2" high and 6" deep, so it fits under tight overshelves and sneeze guards.
Dual LED lights run the full length and are field replaceable. Warm White is standard; Cool White or dual Warm/Cool White are options.
The pre-focused 1416-watt metal-sheathed element heats the whole holding area with no cold spots and holds food without further cooking it.
The remote RMB5-1R box has an infinite heat control (0-100%), an on/off switch and a power-on light, and drives the LEDs.
Clear anodized is standard. Seven Designer colors and five Gloss finishes, in anti-microbial paint, can be ordered with the unit.
Hatco recommends 13" to 16" for high watt units. High watt units must be at least 10" above a non-combustible surface and cannot go over combustible surfaces.
It is hardwired, single phase, at 120, 208 or 240 volts, chosen at order. It draws 1416 watts: 11.9 A at 120V, 6.9 A at 208V, 6 A at 240V.
Yes. The control box runs heat and lights together, or lights only or heat only. A lights-only version is sold by Hatco as the HL5 series.
Hatco recommends Warm White over heated wells and shelves, Cool White over refrigerated wells and shelves, and dual Warm/Cool White over hot/cold wells and shelves.
Yes, with the optional RMB5-2R remote box. It controls up to two units at the same set points and is 14" W x 5-1/2" H.
Hatco's limited warranty runs 18 months from shipment or product registration, whichever is later. The metal-sheathed heating element is covered for 1 year parts and labor plus 1 more year parts only. Hatco also offers 24/7 parts and service assistance in the US and Canada.
