Two 108-inch Glo-Ray heaters side by side on one 15-inch-deep frame, for a deeper pass-through or holding shelf that keeps plated food hot without drying it out.
The Hatco GRAH-108D is a high watt Glo-Ray dual strip heater: two 6" aluminum heater sections joined by a 3" center spacer, for an overall size of 108" W x 15" D x 2-1/2" H. It is rated 5000 watts, single phase, and is built for 120V, 208V or 240V. Pre-focused reflectors spread the heat from the metal sheathed elements across the whole holding surface, so there are no cold spots. Hatco offers this size only with remote switches or an RMB remote control box, which is ordered separately. Power leaves through conduit at the server's right. Voltage is set when the unit is ordered.
Measure the shelf: the heater is 108" long and 15" deep, and the switch sits on the chef's left end.
Two 6" heater sections with a 3" center spacer cover a 15"-deep area, so one unit heats a full-depth pass-through.
Specially designed reflectors aim the heat across the entire holding surface with no cold spots, and the reflector does not blacken over time.
The continuous extruded aluminum housing does not sag, even on long runs, and insulation keeps heat aimed down at the food.
5000 watts across 108" for longer holding distances; Hatco recommends a 14" to 18" mounting height.
Units 108" and wider have end-to-end elements that can be controlled separately, so you heat only the section in use.
Clear anodized aluminum is standard; 12 Designer and Gloss finishes are optional at order. Non-standard colors cannot be returned.
Single phase at 120V, 208V or 240V, 5000 watts: 120V 41.7 A, 208V 24.0 A, 240V 20.8 A. The unit is hardwired; pick the voltage when you order.
Hatco recommends 14" to 18" for high watt dual units. Dual heaters cannot be installed in combustible surroundings.
The spacer is the center section between the two heaters. The 3" spacer makes the unit 15" deep; the 6" spacer makes it 18" deep for a deeper holding area. This listing is the 3" spacer, 15" deep.
Hatco offers 108" and wider dual units only with remote switches or an RMB remote control box, which is not included. Remote toggle switches are rated max. 15 amps, remote infinite switches max. 12.2 amps. Mount the box outside the heat zone.
Hatco covers defects for 18 months from shipment or registration, whichever is later. The metal sheathed heating element has 1 year parts and labor plus 1 more year parts only. Register within 90 days of shipment.
Turn it off, unplug or switch off the breaker and let it cool. Wipe it daily with a water-dampened, non-abrasive cloth, use a non-abrasive cleaner on stubborn stains, then wipe dry. Do not steam clean, use a jet spray or soak it.
