The Hatco GRAHL-60 is a Glo-Ray high watt aluminum infrared strip heater with lights. A pre-focused heat pattern and a reflector that does not blacken spread even heat across the holding area, and 5 coated shatter-resistant incandescent lights show off the food. It is 60" wide, 9" deep and 2-1/2" high and rated 1,700 W. It is built for 120, 120/208 or 120/240V single phase, chosen when you order. A built-in toggle switch sits on the chef's left side, and power comes in through 36" of flexible metal conduit with 42" wire leads.
On 120/208V and 120/240V units the lights run on a 120V circuit and the heat on 208V or 240V, so plan the wiring before install.
The pre-focused heat pattern spreads heat evenly with no cold spots, so food holds at serving temperature longer.
5 coated, shatter-resistant incandescent bulbs light the holding area and protect food if a bulb breaks. Halogen and Chef LED bulbs are options.
The continuous extruded aluminum housing stays straight across the full 60" length, and the reflector does not blacken.
1,700 W of infrared heat lets you mount it higher, at 11" to 14" above the food.
A reinforced wire guard protects staff without changing the heat pattern of the metal-sheathed element.
Choose 120, 120/208 or 120/240V single phase when you order. It draws 14.2 A at 120V, 9.2 A at 120/208V and 8.3 A at 120/240V. On 120/208V and 120/240V units the lights run on 120V and the heat on 208V or 240V.
Yes. A toggle switch (max. 15 A) is built in on the chef's left side. An infinite control (max. 12.2 A) or remote toggle switches in a Hatco RMB box can be ordered instead.
Hatco recommends 11" to 14" above the food for high watt units. Over combustibles keep 13.5" to the surface below, 3" to the back wall and 1" below an overshelf.
Hatco's spec sheet lists a factory 6 ft. cord set for 120V units 72" or shorter that hang on chains, C-legs or T-legs with a NEMA 5-15P plug, but the manual says cord sets are not offered on units with lights. Ask us to confirm with Hatco before you order. As listed it is hardwired.
Yes, at the time of purchase only. Clear anodized aluminum is standard; the housing can be ordered in Designer colors Warm Red, Black, Gray Granite, White Granite, Navy Blue, Hunter Green, Antique Copper and Radiant Red, or gloss Glossy Gray, Bold Black, Gleaming Gold and Brilliant Blue. Non-standard colors are non-returnable.
Hatco's limited warranty runs 18 months from shipment or registration, whichever is later. Metal-sheathed food warmer elements have 1 year parts and labor plus 1 more year parts only. Coated light bulbs are not covered. Hatco also offers 24/7 parts and service assistance in the US and Canada.
