The Hatco GRAM-42D is a Glo-Ray Max Watt dual infrared strip heater in a 42" extruded aluminum housing. Two metal-sheathed tubular elements sit side by side with a 3" spacer between them, making the unit 15" deep to cover a deeper holding area. It is rated 2,350 W. Hatco rates Max Watt units at 25% more output than Glo-Ray high watt. Voltage is chosen when you order: 120V, 208V or 240V, single phase.
Install the remote control box outside the heat zone; switches mounted in the heat will fail early.

Hatco recommends 18" to 24" above the food for both spacer sizes, with at least 15" from the unit to the surface below.
The standard 3" spacer makes the unit 15" deep with a 21" target holding width; the 6" spacer makes it 18" deep for a 24" target width. This listing is the 3" spacer version.
Adjustable angle brackets and a remote control enclosure with toggle switch and indicator light. Non-adjustable stands and extended leads are factory options.
Yes, at the time of purchase. Designer colors (Warm Red, Black, Gray Granite, White Granite, Navy Blue, Hunter Green, Antique Copper) and Gloss finishes (Gleaming Gold, Glossy Gray, Bold Black, Brilliant Blue, Radiant Red) are optional. Non-standard colors are non-returnable.
Hatco's limited warranty covers the unit for 18 months from shipment or registration, whichever is later. The metal-sheathed food warmer element gets 1 year parts and labor plus a second year on parts. Light bulbs are not covered.
The spec sheet shows cULus and NSF marks, and the unit is made in the USA.
