The Hatco GRN-18 is the standard watt model in the Glo-Ray Narrow line: 250 watts from a tubular metal-sheathed element in a steel housing only 2" high and 4" deep. Hatco builds it for one voltage, 120, 208 or 240V single phase, chosen when you order. Slim 2-inch profile
The housing is 2" high and 4" deep, so it tucks under shelves and keeps the food in view on buffet lines and in tight spaces.
Pre-focused heat
Glo-Ray pre-focused heat from a tubular metal-sheathed element holds serving temperatures longer without continuing to cook the food.
Standard Watt output
This 18" model is rated 250 watts. Hatco recommends mounting standard watt narrow heaters 8" to 11" above the food.
Designer colors
Designer Black is standard. Warm Red, Gray Granite, White Granite, Navy Blue, Hunter Green, Antique Copper or stainless steel can be ordered at time of purchase. Designer paint is anti-microbial.
Mounting choices
Ships with 1.5" angle brackets. Stainless hanger tabs, S hooks with chain, and adjustable or non-adjustable tubular stands are factory options.
Delivery and setup
- Inspect the carton for damage before you sign, and note any damage on the delivery receipt.
- A qualified electrician should make the hardwired connection to a grounded single-phase circuit that matches the voltage on the specification label.
- If you add a remote control enclosure, mount it outside the heat zone, or damage will occur.
- Manufacturing oils may smoke for up to 30 minutes at first startup. Run the heater without food until the smoke clears.
- Clean daily once the unit is off and cool: wipe metal surfaces with a damp, non-abrasive cloth and dry them. Do not use jet spray, steam or excess water.
