A drop-in heated shelf that turns a 30-1/2" x 16" countertop cutout into a heated holding zone for pans and plates.
The Hatco GRSB-30-F is a Glo-Ray built-in heated shelf with a recessed top. It drops into a countertop opening and sits on a 3/4" flange, with a hardcoat aluminum surface recessed 1/2" and a blanket-type element underneath for even heat. The usable heated area is 30" x 15-1/2". A thermostat control box on a 36" flexible conduit carries the lighted power switch, and a 6 ft. cord with NEMA 5-15P plug runs to a 120V outlet. It draws 505 watts.
Check the countertop material: Hatco recommends metal counters; other materials must take temperatures up to 200°F.
The hardcoat aluminum surface sits 1/2" below the flange, so pans and plates stay in place on the heated area.
A blanket-type element and fiberglass insulation keep uniform heat at the holding surface.
The thermostat and lighted rocker switch sit in a control box with mounting brackets. Mount it under the unit or up to 36" away.
A 3/4" flanged edge sits on the counter around a 30-1/2" x 16" minimum cutout in counters up to 1-1/4" thick.
Hatco says the next larger GRA or GR2A strip heater fits over the top, for example a GRA-36 or GR2A-36 over this 30" shelf.

Yes. Hatco says the next larger GRA or GR2A strip heater fits over the top. For this 30" shelf that is a GRA-36 or GR2A-36, sold separately.
Notched stainless steel channel dividers for GRSB-30 models, sold in pairs, and stainless steel rods for F-depth units, sold one at a time. Flush mount control boxes are factory options.
