A 4/3-size drop-in well that holds four third-size pans hot in one opening, wet or dry.
The Hatco HWB-43D is an uninsulated, standard-watt rectangular 4/3-size heated well that holds the equivalent of four third-size pans. Its thermostat reads the actual well temperature and adds heat only when needed. A 3/4" NPT drain with a flat screen makes emptying and cleaning easy. Order it for 120V, 208V or 240V, single phase.
Combustible countertops need Hatco's accessory mounting kit and a larger cutout.
The 4/3-size well holds four 1/3-size pans, one full-size and one 1/3-size pan, or two 1/2-size and one 1/3-size pan with adapter bars, or two 11 qt. round pans with an adapter top. Pans and adapters are sold separately.
The 3/4" NPT drain with flat drain screen empties the well quickly and keeps pans level.
The thermostat reads the actual well temperature and adds heat only when needed. A separate lighted On/Off rocker switch keeps the dial setting.
Thicker stainless steel construction and solid brazed drain fitting joints; the well is uninsulated.
Elements and thermostats are easy to reach for a quick change.

Hatco lists no cord option for the 4/3-size well; a qualified electrician wires it.
Yes. Hatco recommends wet operation for consistent heating. Do not let a wet well run dry or add water to a well running dry.
In a non-combustible counter, 12.687" to 12.938" wide by 27.687" to 28" deep. Combustible counters need the mounting kit and a 14" to 14.25" by 29" to 29.25" opening.
One year parts and on-site labor is standard, plus a second year of parts-only coverage on the metal sheathed heating element.
