A drop-in 7 qt. round heated well that holds steam table food hot in a counter, with a thermostat that adds heat only when the well needs it.
The Hatco HWBHI-7QTDA is an insulated 7 qt. round heated well. It holds one 7-quart round pan and runs wet or dry. The 815W at 120/240V, 730W at 208V metal sheathed element sits in a stainless and aluminized steel housing, controlled by a remote auto-fill control box that fills the well and keeps the water level on a 36" flexible conduit. A 3/4" NPT drain with a flat screen makes emptying the water easy and keeps pans level.
Measure the cutout before ordering: the unit is voltage specific and its electrical needs are on the specification label.
The thermostat reads the actual temperature of the well and adds heat only when needed, so preset temperatures hold.
The auto-fill system fills the well when switched on and keeps the water at the sensor level during service.
Designed for wet or dry holding. Hatco recommends wet operation, with water up to 1-1/4" deep, for consistent food heating.
3/4" NPT drain with flat screen: Hatco calls it 50% larger, it simplifies cleaning and holds pans level.
Insulation on the sides and bottom keeps heat in the well and leaves surrounding surfaces cooler.
Elements and thermostats are easy to reach for service.
For a non-combustible countertop, cut 9.38" to 9.56" diameter. A combustible countertop needs 11" to 11.25" square and the Hatco mounting kit.
Choose one when you order: 120V 815W 6.8A; 208V 730W 3.5A; 240V 815W 3.4A, all single phase. The well is voltage specific. It is hardwired as standard; a cord is an option (NEMA 5-15P at 120V).
