A built-in full-size heated well that holds a 12" x 20" pan of hot food in your counter, wet or dry.
The Hatco HWBHIB-FUL is an insulated bottom-mount full-size heated well. It holds one full-size pan, three 1/3-size or two 1/2-size pans with adapter bars, two 7-quart round pans or three 4-quart round pans with an adapter top, and runs wet or dry. The 1650W metal sheathed element sits in a stainless and aluminized steel housing, controlled by a remote control box with a lighted on/off rocker switch and temperature dial on a 36" flexible conduit. This model has no drain, so the water is removed by hand.
Measure the cutout before ordering: the unit is voltage specific and its electrical needs are on the specification label.
The thermostat reads the actual temperature of the well and adds heat only when needed, so preset temperatures hold.
A lighted on/off rocker switch and temperature dial sit in a remote control box on a 36" flexible conduit; 72" conduit is optional.
Designed for wet or dry holding. Hatco recommends wet operation, with water up to 1-1/4" deep, for consistent food heating.
Insulation on the sides and bottom keeps heat in the well and leaves surrounding surfaces cooler.
Bottom-mount design: only the pan edge shows above the counter; the well fastens under the countertop.
For a non-combustible countertop, cut 12.03" W x 20.03" D, flanged. It mounts only to the underside of a non-combustible countertop.
Choose one when you order: 120V 1650W 13.8A; 208V 1650W 7.9A; 240V 1650W 6.9A, all single phase. The well is voltage specific. It is hardwired as standard; a cord is an option (NEMA 5-20P at 120V, NEMA 6-15P at 208V, NEMA 6-15P at 240V).
