Six full-size hot wells in one drop-in unit, each with its own thermostat, for a steam table line that installs as one piece.
The Hatco HWBI-6MA groups six insulated full-size (12" x 20") heated wells into one top-mount drop-in unit that measures 85.5" W x 23.63" D. Each well has its own thermostatic control, and one lighted On/Off switch keeps the settings when you power down. The wells drain through a 1" NPT copper manifold; the exit is set on the side or bottom and to the left or right in the field. An auto-fill system tops up water without staff checking it. It runs on 208V or 240V, single phase or optional three phase.

Each of the six wells has its own thermostat and temperature dial, so you can hold different foods at different settings.
Insulated well cavities and stainless steel construction with solid brazed drain fitting joints. EZ locking hardware speeds installation.
Each full-size well takes full-size, half-size or third-size pans; adapters for 4- or 7-quart round pans and pan support bars are sold separately.
All six wells empty through one 1" NPT copper manifold drain with a side or bottom exit, field selectable left or right.

Separate well assemblies give independent access to each well, and elements or thermostats change quickly.
Cut the countertop 84.125" to 84.375" wide and 22.25" to 22.50" deep for EZ locking tabs. The unit itself is 85.5" W x 23.63" D x 9.56" H. Leave at least 3-1/2" below the unit to any combustible surface.
Order 208V or 240V, single phase, or three-phase wiring at no charge. It draws 34.7 A at 208V single phase, 30.1 A at 240V single phase, 20.1 A at 208V three phase and 17.4 A at 240V three phase. With optional split control boxes the unit has more than one circuit connection, and each needs its own breaker.
No. It is hard wired as standard. Hatco offers a factory cord with a NEMA 6-50P plug for single-phase units with a single control box, at time of order.
Yes. Hatco designs these wells for wet or dry use. Let the unit cool before you switch modes, and do not let it run dry when set up for wet operation.
Auto-fill sits on the left control and fills the left-hand well. Hatco notes that to fill all wells, the installer must connect the drains with an external manifold. It needs a 1/4" NPT water connection at 25 to 100 psi and 60 to 110°F.
Hatco's limited warranty covers the metal-sheathed heated well element for 1 year parts and labor plus 1 more year parts only. Other parts carry Hatco's standard 18-month limited warranty. Register the unit with Hatco within 90 days of factory shipment to qualify for added coverage.
