Hatco HWBRN-7QTD Drop-In 7 Qt. Round Heated Well with Drain, Fabricator Component, Infinite Control, 120/208/240V
A 7-quart round heated well component that lets a fabricator build hot food holding into a custom steam table or serving counter.
The Hatco HWBRN-7QTD is a drop-in 7-quart round heated well, uninsulated, built as a UR and C-UR recognized fabricator component. It holds one 7-quart round pan. It is a standard-watt well built for 120, 208 or 240V single phase, set when you order. It comes with an infinite switch control with a pilot light on 36" leads, but without conduit or a control box enclosure; the fabricator wires it and must obtain UL approvals for the finished unit. A 3/4" NPT drain with a flat drain screen makes emptying and cleaning easy.
Leave at least 3-1/2" from the bottom of the well to any combustible surface, and allow extra room below the counter for the drain.
An infinite switch control with a pilot light comes on 36" leads, ready to mount in your counter panel.

120V: 500 W, 4.2 A; 208V: 536 W, 2.6 A; 240V: 600 W, 2.5 A; single phase, voltage chosen at order. Hatco builds the well for one voltage, so order the one you have. The fabricator wires it.
The well uses UL recognized (UR and C-UR) components and ships without conduit or a control box enclosure. The fabricator installs it in a steam table and must obtain UL approvals.
RT means thermostat control with a lit rocker switch and 36" capillary. RN means infinite switch control with a pilot light and 36" leads.
One 7-quart round pan. Pans and adapters are sold separately.
Yes. Hatco recommends wet operation with hot tap water up to 1-1/4" deep. Let the well cool to room temperature before switching between wet and dry, and preheat about 30 minutes.
Hatco gives 1 year parts and on-site labor, plus 1 additional year parts-only on the metal-sheathed heated well element.
