Hatco RMB-16C is a 16-3/8" wide RMB-16 Series remote control enclosure for a Glo-Ray infrared strip heater. It holds 1 toggle switch and 4 infinite controls, wired and ready for installation, and Hatco builds it to UL standards. This is the 208V version. Hatco lists the same layout as RMB-16B for 120V and RMB-16D for 240V. Use one RMB per strip heater and no more than one strip heater per RMB.
Do not mount the box on, under, around or above the heater, or near steam equipment.
Hatco says a remote box keeps the controls away from the heater, which extends their life.
Ships with 1 toggle switch and 4 infinite controls and wiring, ready for installation.
Hatco builds every RMB to UL standards for switches, indicator lights and wiring.
A wiring access cover on the bottom and knockouts take conduit connectors for the heater and power runs.
Hatco RMB boxes are made for Glo-Ray strip heaters, one box per heater. Hatco matches the box to the heater with its Choose Remote Box picker. Send us your heater model, voltage and wattage and we will confirm the match before you order.
In a cool, dry location as far from any heat zone as possible. Do not mount it on, under, around or above the heater, on a heated surface or near steam equipment.
Hatco rates them per switch: toggle switches handle up to 15 amps and infinite controls up to 12.2 amps. Do not use them on circuits above those ratings.
A toggle switch turns power on and off to the heating elements and/or lights. An infinite control turns on the power and sets the heat of the elements.
The RMB-16C is the 208V version. Hatco lists the same layout as RMB-16B for 120V and RMB-16D for 240V. Match the box to your strip heater voltage.
Clear anodized is standard. Hatco offers Designer Colors and Gloss finishes only at the time of purchase, and non-standard colors are non-returnable. Ask us before you order.
