The Hatco UGAHL-30D6 is an Ultra-Glo high watt ceramic dual infrared strip heater with 2 shatter-resistant display lights. It joins two 30" heating elements with a 6" spacer for an 18" deep housing (UGAHL-30D with the 6" spacer). The ceramic element lets you mount it higher, 22" to 26" above the counter, for more working room. It is rated 2,370 W and built for 120/208 or 120/240V single phase, chosen when you order, and it ships with a toggle switch and indicator light in an attached control box or a remote control enclosure.
Hatco recommends a dual unit for 20" to 24" deep pass-through areas.
The ceramic element lets the heater hang 22" to 26" above the food, so cooks and servers get more working clearance.

2 coated incandescent display lights light the food and guard against glass if a bulb breaks.
Specially shaped reflectors concentrate heat at the edges of the holding area, where heat loss is greatest, so food does not overcook in the middle.

Adjustable angle brackets set a 1", 1-1/2" or 2" gap under a shelf; tubular stands are factory options.
Choose 120/208 or 120/240V single phase when you order. It is rated 2,370 W at 120/208V, 2,370 W at 120/240V and draws 11.8 A at 120/208V; 10.4 A at 120/240V. On 120/208V and 120/240V units the lights run on 120V and the heating elements on 208V or 240V. It is hardwired, with no cord and plug.
Yes. It ships with a toggle switch and indicator light, either in an attached control box or in a remote control enclosure (RMB), chosen at order. An RMB with an electronic infinite control is optional (not for 240V with lights); infinite controls are not offered in the attached box.
Hatco lists 22" to 26" above a non-combustible counter for this high watt dual unit. Keep it at least 1" below a shelf and 3" from the back wall, in non-combustible surroundings only.
It is the spacer between the two heating elements. Hatco builds the dual model with a 3" spacer (standard, 15" deep) or a 6" spacer (18" deep). This listing has the 6" spacer.
Yes, at the time of purchase only. Clear anodized aluminum is standard; the housing, stands and remote box can be ordered in Warm Red, Black, Gray Granite, White Granite, Navy Blue, Hunter Green and Antique Copper Designer colors, or Radiant Red, Glossy Gray, Bold Black, Gleaming Gold and Brilliant Blue gloss finishes. Yes. Hatco Chef LED bulbs (3000K warm halogen look or 4000K cool fluorescent look) fit units with lights, rotated down, for pass-through use only, with the unit 18" to 22" or higher above the surface.
Hatco's limited warranty runs 18 months from shipment or registration, whichever is later; the dual sheet states ceramic heating elements are warranted against burnout for one year. Coated light bulbs are not covered. Register within 90 days of shipment.
