Description
The Kolpak PX8-1008-CT Polar Pak is an indoor, floorless walk-in cooler designed for restaurant, supermarket, convenience-store, and foodservice cold storage applications. With nominal 10' x 8' x 8' dimensions and 522 cu. ft. of capacity, it provides refrigerated storage space while allowing installation over an existing floor.
This self-contained cooler uses a top-mounted 1/2 hp refrigeration system with R-454C refrigerant. The top-mounted configuration keeps the refrigeration components above the storage area, and the unit operates on 115V, 60 Hz, single-phase electrical service at 16.8 amps. Digital temperature controls, an exterior thermometer, and LED lighting support daily operation, with a listed temperature range of 38°F.
The 4-inch foamed-in-place, CFC-free urethane-insulated panels help maintain interior temperatures. A solid swing door with a 26-inch opening includes adjustable spring-loaded hinges and a deadbolt locking handle. The floorless design includes 4-inch vinyl screeds for sealing at the installation surface. This model is NSF certified, UL certified, and made in America.
