The MagiKitch'n CM-SMB-636 is a 36" countertop charbroiler for restaurants, grills and food counters. 7 stainless steel burners put out 105,000 BTU/hr (140,000 with the high output option) across 810 sq. in. of grid, and it sits on a counter, a 21" stand or a properly insulated refrigerated base. A stainless steel coal screen holds MagiCoals ceramic briquettes, for the look of coal cooking with gas.
Measure every doorway and turn on the delivery path against the crate size, and plan a ventilation hood over the unit. A licensed gas fitter should make the connection.
MagiKitch'n built the Series 600 around a computer-designed heat pattern with baffles for even heat across the whole grid, so less experienced cooks waste less food.
The free-floating round-rod grids tilt so grease runs into the front trough; MagiKitch'n says about 70% of it drains to the collection box.
Stainless radiant, cast iron radiant and ceramic coal setups are interchangeable; with the conversion parts the change takes under 15 minutes and no tools.
All-stainless burners, a double-walled insulated cabinet and ventilated heat shields over the manifold keep knobs and valves cool. Removable water tubs make daily cleaning quick.

Standard burners are 15,000 BTU each for 105,000 BTU/hr. The high output option raises them to 20,000 BTU each, 140,000 BTU/hr in total, for heavy production. You can choose it in the burner option above the Add to Cart button.
The spec sheet lists the stainless coal screen as standard, and MagiKitch'n's price book lists MagiCoals ceramic briquettes as a separate item (1 box of 50 and 1 box of 100 for this size). Ask us to confirm what your order includes before it ships.
Yes. MagiKitch'n designs it for counters, work tables or properly insulated refrigerated or freezer bases, and a 21" equipment stand gives a 36" working height.
Plan on one. The spec sheet says not to block the flue gases from flowing into the hood, and local codes require commercial gas charbroilers to go under a ventilation hood. The manual says it is for indoor use only.
The spec sheet lists 0" at the sides and rear and 30" in front. The manual says to install it in a non-combustible location.
MagiKitch'n covers defects in material and workmanship for 2 years, parts and labor, starting at installation (or 6 months after the unit leaves the factory, if that comes first). Repairs must be done by an authorized service agency; labor is covered within 50 miles of one. Labor on removable and consumable parts such as briquettes, coal screens, burners, grates and radiants is not covered.
