The Maxx Cold MXSH23.6SHC is a Select Series chest freezer with two hinged lids, a white powder coated steel cabinet and an aluminum interior. It stores meat, packaged foods, ice cream, desserts and bagged ice, with two coated wire storage baskets for small items. A cold wall system and an oversized refrigeration system keep the temperature even, and CFC-free foam helps hold contents for up to 2 days in a power outage. It plugs into a 115V NEMA 5-15 outlet and needs no floor drain.

The cold wall system keeps the cabinet between -11.2°F and -1°F. Maxx Cold sets the thermostat at the factory to 5°F; a 1 to 7 dial adjusts it.
Inside it measures 73.58" W x 22.40" D x 27.32" H, with two coated wire storage baskets to keep small packages within reach.
Each counterbalanced, hinged lid has an integrated handle and a key lock. Two keys come with the freezer.
CFC-free urethane foam insulation helps keep contents safe for up to 2 days during a power outage, Maxx Cold states.
Four 1.3" rollers let you move it for cleaning; lock the front wheels when it is in use.

A standard grounded 115V, 60 Hz, single-phase outlet (NEMA 5-15). The freezer has a 6 ft. cord with a NEMA 5-15P plug, and the spec sheet lists a 2.1 A draw. Maxx Cold recommends a separate circuit for the freezer.
The holding range is -11.2°F to -1°F (-24°C to -18°C). It leaves the factory set to 5°F; adjust the 1 to 7 dial to suit your load.
It is a manual defrost freezer. Empty it, turn the dial to OFF and unplug it. Pull the inside drain plug and set a shallow pan at the drain outlet on the back. Use the plastic scraper, not a metal tool; metal tools can damage the walls and void the warranty.
The freezer is 78.75" W x 29.7" D x 33.625" H. Leave 5" at the back and sides for airflow, keep it away from ovens, grills and direct sun, and install it indoors on a level floor.
