Questions buyers ask
Which units does it fit?
Moffat's replacement parts list for the Turbofan proofer and holding cabinets lists the 234562 water filter cartridge for the P8M, P10M, P12M, P85M8 and P85M12.
Is the filter head included?
No. This is the cartridge only. Moffat's filter head kit 234347 supplies the cartridge mounting head with the plumbing and fittings, a double check / pressure reducing valve and 2 meters of tubing.
Do I need the filter for the proofer to work?
No. Moffat lists the water filter kit as optional. The cabinet's auto water fill system connects to a cold water line either way.
Where does the filter go?
Moffat's spec sheets say the water filter kit installs in a pre-fitted housing at the rear of the cabinet, so it sits flush at the back.
Is the part number 234562 or 234652?
Moffat's proofer manual lists the water filter cartridge as 234562; the moffatusa.com accessory page shows 234652 for the P124BN CUNO cartridge. If you are unsure, call us with your cabinet's model and serial number before ordering.
