The Pegasus CB-36E is a 36" electric charbroiler for restaurants, cafes and kitchens that have no gas line or want to add a broiler to the line. It runs on 11.25 kW at 208V, either 3-phase (32 A) or 1-phase (54 A) after a field conversion, with infinite temperature controls. The heating elements lift up for cleaning, and grease collects in a stainless steel drawer.

The spec sheet lists no cord or plug, so plan for an electrician to connect it to a 208V circuit sized for the phase you use. Your local code may require it under a ventilation hood.
No gas line needed
Runs on 208V electric power at 11.25 kW, so it works where gas is not available.

Questions buyers ask
What power does it need?
208V, 60 Hz. It draws 32 A on 3-phase or 54 A on 1-phase, and it is field convertible from 3-phase to 1-phase.
Does it come with a plug?
The spec sheet lists no cord or plug type. Plan for an electrician to connect it.
Can I use it on 240V?
Pegasus lists it for 208V only. Call us before ordering if your building has 240V.
How do I clean it?
Lift up the heating elements to clean underneath, and empty the stainless steel grease drawer.
How close can it go to a wall?
Against non-combustible walls it needs 0" on the sides and 2" at the back. Against combustible walls it needs 1" on the left and 3" on the right and back.
What other sizes are there?
Pegasus makes the same electric charbroiler as the 12" CB-12E, 24" CB-24E, 48" CB-48E.
What does the warranty cover?
Pegasus gives a one-year limited parts and labor warranty in the USA and Canada.
