The Pegasus HP-36E is a 36" countertop electric range for restaurants, caterers, food trucks and kitchens without gas. It has six spill-proof 9" solid cast-iron alloy burners at 2 kW each, with six-position controls that go from simmer to boil, and every element has built-in overheat protection. It runs on 12 kW at 208V, 3-phase or 1-phase after a field conversion.

The spec sheet lists no cord or plug, so plan for an electrician to connect it to a 208V circuit. It sits on a counter or equipment stand; at 34.9" deep, check that your counter is deep enough. Your local code may require a ventilation hood.

208V, 60 Hz, 12 kW. On 3-phase it draws 33.3 A per line; on 1-phase it draws 57.7 A. It is field convertible from 3-phase to 1-phase.
What size are the burners?
6 solid 9" cast-iron alloy burners, 2 kW each.
Do I need special pans?
No. Solid electric burners heat any flat-bottomed pot or pan; flat bottoms make the best contact.
How close can it go to a wall?
Against non-combustible walls it needs 0" on the sides and 2" at the back. Against combustible walls it needs 1" on the left and 3" on the right and back.
What does the warranty cover?
Pegasus gives a one-year limited parts and labor warranty in the USA and Canada.
