A 56" Melstone single deck gas oven that bakes on a 36" x 24" stone deck.
The Pegasus MS56RG-1 is a single deck natural gas pizza oven from the Melstone series for pizzerias, restaurants and bars. Its 36" x 24" refractory deck has an 8" deck height, the oven holds six pizzas at a time, and a thermostat runs it up to 650°F on 55,000 BTU. The stainless steel body is fully insulated, and the welded angle iron frame is designed to allow double-stacking.

Plan for a 41" deep space plus the back clearance and a natural gas line with a shutoff, and measure every doorway on the delivery path. Your local code may require it under a ventilation hood.

Galaxy Group lists 6 pizzas of 11.81" (300 mm) on the 36" x 24" deck.
How hot does it get?
The thermostat goes up to 650°F, per the current Pegasus spec sheet.
Does it run on propane?
This listing is the natural gas model. Pegasus lists the series for natural or LP gas; call us before ordering if you need LP.
What gas connection does it need?
A rear 3/4" NPT natural gas connection, installed by a qualified gas installer.
Can I add a second deck?
Pegasus makes the MS56RG-2 with two decks. The frame is welded to allow double-stacking; call us before stacking two single ovens.
How close can it go to a wall?
Against non-combustible walls it needs 0" on the sides and 2" at the back. Against combustible walls it needs 1" on the left and 3" on the right and back.
