Open front
Shoppers reach straight in for beverages, dairy and packaged grab-and-go items.
Remote refrigeration
The case runs on R448A at a 14°F evaporator, with the compressor at your remote system.
Shortest in the line
The PMA4 is the smallest of the line, which also includes the PMA8 and PMA12.
Timed-off defrost
The refrigeration pauses on a timer so the coil defrosts with case air; no defrost heaters are listed.

Questions buyers ask
Does it have its own compressor?
No. It is a remote case: it connects to a separate condensing unit or rack system, on R448A at a 14°F evaporator temperature. Call us for the cooling capacity before you size the system.
What power does the case need?
110V, 60 Hz. Call us to confirm the amps and phase before wiring. The compressor is powered at the remote system.
What line and drain sizes does it use?
The listed refrigerant line sizes are 3/8" and 7/8", with a 1 1/4" drain. Have your refrigeration contractor confirm the suction and liquid connections with us before piping.
How much wall space does it take?
The case is 780 mm (30.7") deep and 2,200 mm (86.6") tall. Call us to confirm the length with end panels before you plan the line-up.
How does it defrost?
Timed-off defrost: the refrigeration stops on a schedule and the coil defrosts with the air in the case.
Are longer lengths available?
Yes. We also list the same series as the PMA8 and PMA12. Call us to compare sizes.
