Turn part of a Royal TB-3 or DRB broiler into a flat griddle by lifting two grates out and setting this plate in their place.
The LOG-1017 is a 10" x 17-1/2" lift-off griddle plate for Royal's TB-3 infrared and DRB radiant broilers. It is all-welded 1/2" highly polished steel with handles, and takes the place of two top grates, giving you a flat cooking surface on one section of the broiler. Royal designs it to cover only part of the broiler top so the broiler can still vent.

Which broilers does the LOG-1017 fit?
Royal lists it for its TB-3 series (TB-315, TB-321, TB-325, TB-330, TB-336) and DRB series (DRB-15, DRB-21, DRB-25, DRB-30, DRB-36) broilers. It does not fit the 23 series or TB/RB-8 broilers, which use other LOG sizes.
How many grates does it replace?
Two. The TB-3 and DRB top grates are 5" x 18" cast iron, and the 10" wide plate takes the space of two of them. The 15" wide LOG-1517 replaces three.
Why doesn't it cover the whole broiler?
Royal designs the lift-off griddle to cover only part of the broiler top so the broiler can still vent.
What is it made of?
All-welded 1/2" highly polished steel plate with handles. It ships at 29 lbs.
What does the warranty cover?
Royal's standard limited warranty is 2 years on parts and 1 year on labor from installation (up to 30 months from manufacture). Call us if you have a warranty question on an accessory.
