A single full size electric convection oven for kitchens that bake, roast and reheat in volume on a 34" footprint.
The RECO-1 is Royal's standard depth electric convection oven: 9 kW from 3 heating elements per oven, a two-speed fan and 5 chrome racks in a 29" W x 22½" D x 24" H porcelain cavity that takes full size sheet pans side to side. It suits restaurants, bakeries, schools and caterers that need even, fast baking. It is hard-wired at a terminal block for 208V or 240V, single or three phase, or 480V three phase.

The doors swing open 135°: leave room in front of the oven for the doors and for loading pans, and keep air space under and behind it for the blower motor.

- Tell us the voltage and phase when you order. A licensed electrician must connect each oven at its terminal block, with the ground wire, following the National Electrical Code and local codes.
- The legs ship separately and bolt to the oven base on site; do not lift or move the oven by its door.
- Inspect the shipment before signing and note any visible damage on the freight bill.
Questions buyers ask
What size pans does it take?
Full size sheet pans, side to side. The usable interior is 29" W x 22½" D x 24" H, with 5 racks on 11 positions.
What electrical service does it need?
Each oven is 9 kW and connects at a terminal block with a ground lug. Royal lists these amps per oven: 208V 1-ph 45; 208V 3-ph 26/25/25; 240V 1-ph 39; 240V 3-ph 23/22/22; 480V 3-ph 12/11/11. Tell us the voltage and phase when you order. A 480V supply must be three phase with a step-down transformer, per Royal's manual.
How much clearance does it need?
0" from combustible and non-combustible walls, per Royal's sheet. It must stand on its legs or casters, not on a curb base, with air space below and behind for the blower motor.
Can it run during a power outage?
No. Royal's manual says the oven cannot be operated during a power failure.
Can I stack two of them?
Yes. Royal's stacking kit (with 6" legs) joins two single-deck ovens. The factory double-deck version is the RECO-2.
How do I keep the fan motor lasting?
Never run the oven with the motor off. When you finish cooking and the oven will sit unused for more than half an hour, set the switch to Cool and open the door until the oven reaches room temperature.
What does the warranty cover?
Royal's limited warranty is 2 years on parts and 1 year on labor from installation (up to 30 months from manufacture), with labor by an authorized Royal service agency.
