The RHEF-60-CM is a single 19.5" wide fryer with a 60 lb. stainless steel tank and 3 in-shot burners (99,000 BTU/hr) heating the oil through Royal's heat exchanger. The CM control is a computer control with individual programming for temperature and time compensation. It suits restaurants and chicken and fish shops that want high output from a narrow footprint.

- Choose natural gas or LP when you order. If your kitchen is above 2,000 feet, tell us the elevation so Royal can set the unit up for it.
- A qualified gas installer must connect it with a manual shut-off valve following local codes. On casters, Royal calls for a quick-disconnect flexible connector and a restraining device.
- Boil out the new tank with a non-chlorine boil-out product before the first fill.
- Inspect the shipment before signing and note any visible damage on the freight bill.

What gas and power connections does it need?
Royal's 2026 catalog lists the 99,000 BTU/hr rating but no gas connection size, gas pressure or electrical data for the RHEF-60-CM. Call us to confirm before you plan the installation.
Does it have a built-in filter?
No. The RHEF-60-CM is a single fryer without a filter. Royal builds the same fryer with a built-in filter as the RHEF-60-1 to -5 models, and sells the RPF-50 portable filter.
What does the CM control do?

How much clearance does it need?

What does the warranty cover?
Royal covers RHEF fryers and fryer filter systems for 2 years parts and labor from installation (up to 30 months from manufacture). The stainless steel fry tank has a 10-year prorated warranty. Labor is covered when an authorized Royal service agency does the work.
How do I clean it?
Filter the oil at the end of each day and wash the baskets and loose parts. Once a week, drain the tank and run a boil-out with a non-chlorine commercial boil-out product.
