The RRB-24OB2 puts a 24" radiant charbroiler with 4 broiler burners next to 2 30,000 BTU open burners on a 36" wide, 30.5" deep chassis. It suits restaurants and grills that need grill marks and pot burners without buying two pieces. Order it for natural gas or propane; the pressure regulator comes with the unit.

Measure the counter depth and hood coverage first: the unit needs 30.5" of depth plus clearance at the back for the gas connection.
Broiler and burners together
4 stainless steel tubular broiler burners (15,000 BTU/hr each) under the 24" broiler and 2 cast iron lift-off head burners (30,000 BTU/hr each) on the hot plate side.
Low-profile chassis
It stands 11" high overall on 4" adjustable heavy duty legs, so you can level it on the counter or a matching Royal stand.

A full-width removable stainless steel crumb pan and an independent firebox that lifts out for service.

- Choose natural gas or LP when you order. If your kitchen is above 2,000 feet, tell us the elevation so Royal can set the unit up for it.
- A qualified gas installer must connect the supplied regulator and a manual shut-off valve ahead of the unit, following local codes.
- Inspect the shipment before signing and note any visible damage on the freight bill.

Does it run on natural gas or propane?
Either. Pick Natural Gas or Liquid Propane (LP) before adding it to the cart; Royal builds it for the gas you specify. Tell us your elevation if you are above 2,000 feet.
How many BTU is it?
120,000 BTU/hr total: 4 broiler burners at 15,000 BTU/hr (60,000) plus 2 open burners at 30,000 BTU/hr (60,000).
What gas connection does it need?
A 3/4" NPT connection at the right rear of the unit. Manifold pressure is 5" W.C. for natural gas and 10" W.C. for propane, and the regulator ships with the unit for your installer to connect.
How much clearance does it need from the wall?
The spec sheet lists 4" at the rear and 15" at the sides from combustible walls, and 0" from non-combustible walls. Royal's countertop manual lists R(D)RB radiant broilers for non-combustible locations only, so plan a non-combustible counter and wall.
Does it need an electrical outlet?
No electrical connection is listed. It lights with standing pilots and runs on manual valves.
What grates come with it?
Heavy duty cast iron grates. Royal offers a fish grate and a diamond grate as options; call us to add one.
What does the warranty cover?
Royal's limited warranty is 2 years on parts and 1 year on labor from installation (up to 30 months from manufacture); cast iron parts are covered for 90 days. Labor is covered when an authorized Royal service agency does the work.
How do I clean it?
Daily, clean the grates with warm water, a mild cleaner and a wire brush, and empty the crumb pan. Wipe stainless steel with hot soapy water; don't use steel wool or abrasive powders.
