Description
The Sapphire SMTOB-2424G provides a 24-inch-wide by 24-inch-deep stainless steel work surface for commercial kitchen preparation, portioning and staging. This configuration combines a 5" backsplash with side and rear crossrails that leave the space below the worktop open.
The top is made from 18-gauge type 430 stainless steel, while the base uses galvanized steel. The 5-inch backsplash forms a rear barrier at the work surface, making this version useful along a wall or beside a preparation line.
The open base accommodates a layout where lower-shelf storage would obstruct the workspace. Crossrails form the base bracing rather than a storage shelf. The rounded front edge defines the worktop profile.
When comparing Sapphire work tables, match the 24 x 24-inch surface, top gauge, base material and backsplash to the intended station. The nominal working height and overall height with a backsplash are different measurements; check the manufacturer drawing for the installation envelope.
