A 30-inch-wide insulated bin that stores up to 536 lb. of ice under a Scotsman modular ice machine.
The Scotsman B530S is a 30" wide modular ice storage bin with a metallic exterior. It holds up to 536 lb. of ice and stands 50" tall on its 6" legs. Foamed-in polyurethane insulation preserves the ice, and the polyethylene liner is sanitary and easy to clean. The ice machine on top is sold separately.
Plan the height of the bin and ice machine together: the bin alone is 50" tall on its legs.
Application capacity is 536 lb. of ice, based on 90% of total volume at 34 lb. per cubic foot.
The door has hidden hinges and is spring loaded for easy opening and closing.
An ice scoop is included, and the bin has a built-in scoop holder.
The baffle removes without tools, and the polyethylene interior is sanitary, easy to clean and resists scuffs from scoops.
Polyurethane foam is forced between the wall and liner under heat and pressure to preserve the ice supply for long periods.
A recessed 3/4" NPT bin drain fitting gives maximum installation flexibility.
Scotsman's sizing chart lists 30" modular heads such as the MC0330, MC0530 and N2030 on this bin, and 22" modular heads with the KBT27 bin top (except MC222L). The ice machine is sold separately.
