The Scotsman HID540WBX-1 is a Meridian self-contained nugget ice machine and dispenser in one water-cooled unit. It makes up to 500 lb. of H2 Nugget Ice per 24 hours at 70°F air and 50°F water (400 lb. at 90°F air and 70°F water), keeps 40 lb. ready in the bin, and dispenses ice and water with antimicrobial push buttons. It plugs into a 115V outlet with a NEMA 5-15P cord and uses R290 refrigerant.

User-controlled antimicrobial push buttons give quick, simple dispensing. SmoothStream water dispensing reduces splashing.
AgION and other antimicrobial compounds are molded into key components, and the sealed refrigeration system limits airborne contamination.

Sealed, maintenance-free bearings reduce preventive maintenance and do not need grease.

No. Scotsman's ADA sheet says the HID312, HID525 and HID540 push-button models are not ADA compliant on the HST16 or HST21 stands or on a 34" ADA compliant countertop. Choose a touch-free model if you need ADA reach compliance.
A potable water line to the 3/8" flare inlet and a drain at the 3/4" FPT connection, with water pressure of 20 to 80 PSIG. The water-cooled condenser also needs its own 3/8" FPT water inlet and 1/2" FPT drain; it uses 120 gallons of condenser water per 100 lb. of ice.
