Scotsman NH0922L-1 Prodigy Plus Remote Low Side Nugget Ice Machine Head, H2 Nugget, 889 lb/24 hr, 115V
A 22-inch-wide nugget ice head built to run with an external condensing unit: it makes up to 889 lb of harder H2 nugget ice a day.
The Scotsman NH0922L-1 is the remote low side version of the N0922 Prodigy Plus nugget ice machine. It makes harder, slower-melting H2 Nugget ice, which Scotsman suggests for dispensing. Scotsman rates it at 889 lb per 24 hours at 70°F air and 50°F water, and 766 lb at 90°F air and 70°F water. The head has no compressor or condenser of its own: it is built to run with an external condensing unit supplied by others, joined by a brazed line set, and refrigerant (R-404A) is added at start-up. The head itself runs on a 115V cord. It is a head only: order a bin or dispenser separately.
Measure doorways for the 25.5" wide carton, and plan the bin or dispenser before the head arrives.
This model makes H2 Nugget ice. Scotsman offers the softer Original Chewable Nugget for bins and the harder H2 Nugget for dispensing; check the model letter (NS soft, NH hard) before you order.
External indicator lights show machine status across the room and signal when it is time to descale or sanitize. A unit-specific QR code links to service manuals, cleaning guides and warranty history.
Only the ice-making section is in the cabinet. Energy for the head is 0.87 kWh per 100 lb of ice; the condensing unit supplied by others does the rest.
AgION antimicrobial protection guards internal surfaces between cleanings.
KVS Vari-Smart ice level control lets you program bin levels. KSBU Smart-Board adds diagnostic data, KSBU-N adds a network connection, and KPAS combines both kits.
