The Scotsman NS2030WX-3 is a Prodigy Plus modular nugget ice machine head that makes Original Chewable Nugget ice, the softer of Scotsman's two nugget types. It produces up to 2,314 lb. per 24 hours at 70°F air / 50°F water and 1,691 lb. at 90°F / 70°F. It is water-cooled, using 79.1 gallons of condenser water per 100 lb. of ice at 90°F air / 70°F water on top of the potable water that becomes ice. It runs on 208-230V, 60 Hz, 3-phase power with R449A refrigerant. The head is 30" W x 24" D x 29" H and needs a bin below it, such as the Scotsman BL1048S, BL1360S or BL1660S bins.

Soft nugget ice, about 7/16" x 5/16" x 3/8", with a 74% hardness rating. Scotsman notes nugget ice is inherently more energy and water efficient than cube ice.
