A 4-spit electric rotisserie that roasts up to 20 chickens at a time behind lighted glass doors.
The Southwood RE4 is an electric chicken rotisserie for delis, supermarkets and restaurants that sell rotisserie chicken. Four spits with independent motors hold 16 to 20 chickens, three 2.5 kW elements supply 7.5 kW of heat, and the lighted tempered glass front shows the product to customers. It is hardwired to 240V 3-phase power on a dedicated 30 amp circuit and stands on 6" legs; a stand is optional.
Measure every doorway and turn on the delivery path; its smallest outside dimension is the 22" depth. Confirm you have 3-phase power before ordering.
Each spit has its own motor, so you can cook full or partial loads of 16-20 chickens.

The RE4 runs on 240V, 3-phase, 60 Hz and draws 18.4 A. It is hardwired: Southwood requires a dedicated 30 amp circuit connected by a licensed electrician. Attaching a plug or cord cap voids the warranty.
The cabinet is 45 5/8" wide (50 5/8" with the 5" spit handles) and 22" deep. It stands 58" high: 52" plus 6" legs. It ships at 350 lb. in a 49" x 27" x 52" crate, so measure doorways and turns first.
Southwood rates it for 16 to 20 chickens on 4 spits. Each spit comes with 2 single and 3 double skewers, and additional spits and skewers are available.
Yes. Each spit has its own motor, and the elements and motors have individual controls, so you can run a partial load.
Southwood lists an equipment stand as optional for the RE4; it is not included. One of our photos shows it on a stand.
A drip drawer under the spits collects fat drippings. You can also fill it with water to add humidity while cooking.
