Description
The Traulsen AIF132H-FHS is a one-section roll-in freezer cabinet designed to accept a mobile rack rather than require staff to transfer products to interior shelves. Its full-height solid door, 38 cu. ft. cabinet, and 72-inch rack-height format support frozen-product staging and storage in high-volume commercial operations.
This exact AIF132H-FHS configuration uses remote refrigeration, so refrigeration equipment is not included with the cabinet. The standard 132H door arrangement is right hinged. A stainless steel exterior, anodized aluminum interior, threshold ramp, rack guides, locking door, and LED lighting support day-to-day rack movement and freezer access.
Applications and Workflow
Suitable for commissaries, bakeries, institutional kitchens, and other commercial operations that move product on roll-in racks up to 72 inches high. This is a remote-refrigerated freezer cabinet, not a self-contained freezer; it requires a separately provided remote refrigeration system and should be planned with a qualified refrigeration installer.
Features and Practical Benefits
Roll-in rack workflow
The cabinet accommodates roll-in racks up to 72 inches high, allowing a loaded rack to move directly into frozen storage. Racks are supplied separately.
Right-hinged full-height access
The 132H configuration has a full-height solid door with standard right-side hinging. The self-closing door can stay open at 120 degrees for loading and unloading.
Remote refrigeration configuration
Remote refrigeration is not included, allowing the cabinet to be paired with a separately planned remote refrigeration system.
Cabinet protection at the loading point
Stainless steel interior rack guides and a threshold ramp help guide rack movement at the cabinet opening.

Installation and Purchasing Considerations
- Allow for the cabinet footprint of 35.5 inches wide by 35.56 inches deep and 89.13 inches high.
- Plan aisle space for the right-hinged door. The related 72-inch roll-in cabinet specification lists a 63 1/4-inch depth with the door open 90 degrees; verify final clearances against the approved remote-model submittal before installation.
- This remote model does not include refrigeration equipment. Coordinate the remote condensing system, refrigerant piping, controls, electrical requirements, and commissioning with a qualified refrigeration installer.
- Confirm the incoming rack dimensions before purchase. The supplied family documentation identifies a maximum wheeled rack size of 27 inches wide by 29 inches deep by 72 inches high, with wheels inboard of the frame; racks are supplied separately.
Choosing This Configuration
AIF132H-FHS is the remote-refrigeration version; do not substitute it for a self-contained roll-in freezer unless the project is designed for the different refrigeration arrangement.
The H designation indicates standard right door hinging. Other hinging arrangements may be available only when specified for the order.
The cabinet is configured for full-height solid-door access and 72-inch-high roll-in racks. Shelves and racks should not be assumed included.
