Description
The Traulsen UHT27-L is a 27-inch compact undercounter refrigerator with one solid, left-hinged door. Its 7.35 cu. ft. cabinet provides refrigerated storage below a work surface, with two adjustable powder-coated wire shelves for organizing ingredients, beverages, or backup product.
This self-contained refrigerator uses a rear-mounted, front-breathing refrigeration system and electronic digital control. The door self-closes and stays open at 105 degrees for loading. It is designed for refrigerator operation at 34 to 38 degrees F, not frozen storage.
Applications and Workflow
Use the Traulsen UHT27-L at prep stations, bar service areas, cafes, or other commercial work zones that need compact refrigerated cabinet storage. Its left-hinged solid door should be selected only where the door swing suits the surrounding aisle, wall, and equipment layout. This model is a refrigerator, not a freezer.
Features and Practical Benefits
Left-hinged solid-door layout
The single solid door is left hinged, allowing the door swing to be planned around nearby counters and traffic paths.
Compact refrigerated capacity
The 27-inch-wide cabinet provides 7.35 cu. ft. of net capacity with two standard powder-coated wire shelves.
Front-breathing self-contained cooling
The rear-mounted, self-contained refrigeration system breathes from the front, so no remote condenser connection is required.
Loading-friendly door operation
The door self-closes when released and can stay open at 105 degrees during loading or unloading.
Digital cabinet control
An electronic digital control supports monitoring of the stated 34 to 38 degrees F refrigerator operating range.

Installation and Purchasing Considerations
- Allow a 27-inch-wide by 31 15/16-inch-deep footprint. Overall height is 33 5/8 inches on the included 4-inch casters.
- Plan for 55 3/8 inches of depth when the door is open 90 degrees. Confirm the left-side door swing will not obstruct an aisle, wall, or adjacent equipment.
- Connect to 115/60/1 power using the attached NEMA 5-15P plug. An 8-foot cord is provided.
- This is a self-contained, front-breathing refrigerator. It does not require a remote condenser connection; keep the front airflow path accessible.
Choosing This Configuration
This exact UHT27-L configuration has one solid, left-hinged door. The UHT27-R is a separate right-hinged configuration.
Two shelves are standard. Additional shelves, alternate casters, and legs are accessories and are not assumed to be included.
A stainless steel finished back is a factory-installed option identified by an -SB suffix; the base UHT27-L does not have that suffix.
