A 120V drop-in ceramic glass hot plate for counters, buffets and display cooking.
The Wells HC-1006 is a built-in hot plate with one 7" radiant element under a completely sealed ceramic glass surface. Wells says it heats five times faster than a conventional hot plate, and the smooth top works with any pot or skillet and wipes clean. It drops into a wood or metal counter, with a separate control box on the apron, and is hardwired to 120V.

The completely sealed, non-porous surface resists spills and thermal shock and wipes clean.
The smooth, flat surface works with any pot or skillet.
Fast-glowing radiant element (7") heat the surface evenly, which suits display cooking.
Each element has its own infinite control from off/low to high.
The top drops into the counter and Wellslok clamps the flange from below, with a gasket and a bead of silicone under the flange.
11-5/8" x 11-5/8" countertop cutout; 5" W x 4-7/8" H front panel cutout. Keep 3-5/8" between the unit and the front wall of the counter and 1/2" to cooking appliances next to it.

Wells covers it for one year, parts and labor, against defects. The Wells warranty excludes broken or damaged glass components.
