Fast heat-up

Wells says the ceramic hot plate heats five times faster than a conventional hot plate, cutting cooking time and saving energy.

Sealed glass top

The completely sealed, non-porous surface resists spills and thermal shock and wipes clean.

Any flat pan

The smooth, flat surface works with any pot or skillet.

Radiant elements

Fast-glowing radiant element (9") heat the surface evenly, which suits display cooking.

Infinite control

Each element has its own infinite control from off/low to high.

Wellslok install

The top drops into the counter and Wellslok clamps the flange from below, with a gasket and a bead of silicone under the flange.

Delivery and setup

  • Inspect the carton for damage before you sign, and note any damage on the delivery receipt. Wells asks owners to report shipping damage promptly after delivery.
  • Shipping weight is about 19 lb.
  • Install in a wood or metal counter. The counter must be flat, and the unit must stay accessible from below for service.
  • A licensed electrician connects the power leads inside the control box. Wells lists 14 AWG Cu, 90°C field wiring.
  • Clean the glass-ceramic surface with the cleaning creme supplied with the hot plate.
