A 24-inch heavy duty countertop charbroiler with cast iron radiants for steaks, burgers and grilled vegetables.
The Wells HDCB-2430G is a heavy duty gas radiant charbroiler with a 24" W x 30" D broiling area. 4 cast iron burners, each with its own On/Off valve, infinite heat control and air shutter, heat cast iron radiants under reversible cast iron grates. It is rated 80,000 BTU/hr on natural gas and converts to LP in the field with the included regulator and orifices. Stainless steel front, sides and splash guard, a front grease trough and a removable drip pan keep cleanup simple.
The 4" legs must stay installed: Wells sets the 4" bottom clearance with them.
Heavy-duty cast iron radiants give even heat, reduce flare-ups and add flavor.
Cast iron top grates flip for different score marks and set flat or sloped.
4 cast iron burners each have an On/Off valve with infinite heat control and an adjustable air shutter.
Burners lift out, a front grease trough drains to a removable drip pan, and the stainless front panel removes for service access.
It ships set for natural gas. LP regulators and orifices come with it for field conversion.
Wells lists the broiling surface as 24" W x 30" D, with 4 burners. The unit is 24-1/8" W x 30-1/2" D x 18-1/8" H.
It ships for natural gas at 5" W.C. and is field convertible to LP at 10" W.C. The LP regulator and orifices are included.
A 3/4" NPT connection at the rear, fed by gas pipe of 3/4" inside diameter or larger. Total input is 80,000 BTU/hr.
Wells allows 0" to non-combustible walls with the 4" legs installed, and only in non-combustible locations. A wood counter does not qualify.
Yes. Wells says to install it with ventilation per NFPA 96, the standard for commercial cooking exhaust.
One year parts and labor from Wells. The Wells warranty does not pay labor for consumable parts on gas charbroilers, such as burners, grates and radiants.
