A self-contained drop-in cold well that keeps 4 full-size 12" x 20" pans of pre-chilled food cold on a serving line or salad bar.
The Wells RCP-7400 is a self-contained drop-in refrigerated cold pan that holds 4 full-size 12" x 20" pans or fractional pans at safe serving temperature. Wrapped refrigeration coils on both sides and the bottom, a 1/2 HP R-404A condensing unit mounted below the pan and foamed-in-place insulation keep pre-chilled food cold. Pans sit 3" below the top edge, as NSF-7 requires, so a layer of cold air insulates the food. It plugs into a 115V outlet with an 8 ft. cord and NEMA 5-15P plug.
Cut the counter to 59" x 25-7/8" and plan louvered grills in the cabinet below for the air-cooled condensing unit.
1/2 HP condensing unit with R-404A refrigerant on a corrosion-resistant frame below the pan, with wrapped coils on both sides and the bottom.
Holds 4 full-size 12" x 20" pans or fractional pans with optional adaptor bars.
One-piece 18 gauge stainless steel top flange and coved-corner liner. The outer body is heavy gauge, corrosion-resistant steel.
CFC-free foamed-in-place insulation keeps food cold while saving energy.
Sight glass, service valves, filter/dryer and receiver. The condensing unit can be removed for service.
A 1" drain in the center of the well makes cleaning easier.
