The Atosa YRM0800A-261 is an air-cooled modular ice machine head for restaurants, bars and hotels. It makes up to 800 lb. of half-diced cube ice a day and needs a bin underneath, sold separately: Atosa BYR0400 30" bin (no adapter needed). It runs on 208-230V with a NEMA 6-20P plug and includes a 3M water filter system.

Questions buyers ask
What outlet does it need?
A 208-230V single-phase circuit with a NEMA 6-20 receptacle for the NEMA 6-20P plug. Atosa lists a 9.1 amp minimum circuit and a 16 amp fuse or breaker. Have an electrician confirm the circuit before delivery.
Does it come with a bin?
No. This is the ice machine head only. It sits on the Atosa BYR0400 30" bin without an adapter. For a beverage dispenser instead of a bin, Atosa calls for bin thermostat kit BYR0400217031.
How much ice will it really make?
Atosa rates it at up to 800 lb. per 24 hours with 70°F air and 50°F water. Its manual lists 600 lb. at 90°F air and 70°F water, and 480 lb. at 100°F air and 90°F water, so a hot kitchen makes less.
What water and drain hookups does it need?
A cold water line at 30 to 70 psi (37 to 90°F water) and a gravity drain. Atosa says the bin drain and the machine drain should run separately, with about 1" of drop for every 40" of drain hose.
Does it need a water filter?
Atosa includes a 3M water filter system and says every Atosa ice machine should run with it installed. Replace the cartridge about every 6 months, more often with hard water.
What does the warranty cover?
Atosa's 2026 ice machine warranty gives 2 years parts and labor and 5 years on the sealed compressor (parts only after year 2), counted from shipment. Cleaning and maintenance are not covered, and Atosa expects the included 3M water filter to be installed.
