Atosa AEC21C Condensation Hood for AEC-0621E and AEC-1021E Combi Ovens, 120V, 110 W, Stainless Steel
Description
A condensation hood that sits on a full-size Atosa combi oven and pulls steam out of the air when the door opens.
The Atosa AEC21C mounts on top of the Atosa AEC-0621E and AEC-1021E combi ovens, the two models that take full-size 18" x 26" pans. It draws in the steam released when the door opens and during cooking, condenses it and sends the water to a drain, so less steam rolls into the kitchen. Atosa rates it at 250 to 400 CFM and up to 95% steam reduction at door opening. It runs on 120V (110 W) and needs water and drain connections.

Steam capture
Draws steam in at the oven door and condenses it to water, which leaves through the integrated drain.
No ductwork
Atosa designs it as a self-contained unit that needs no external duct.
Easy filter cleaning
The stainless steel grease filter comes out from the front and is dishwasher safe.
Quiet
Atosa lists the noise level at under 65 dB(A) while running.

Questions buyers ask
Which ovens does it fit?
Atosa lists the AEC21C for the AEC-0621E and AEC-1021E combi ovens. The smaller AEC-0511E, AEC-0711E and AEC-1011E use the AEC11C.
Does it replace a kitchen exhaust hood?
Not necessarily. Atosa says the AEC21C needs no external ductwork, but its combi oven manual still says to install the oven under a hood or vent the oven exhaust outside, and Atosa publishes no ventless (UL 710B) listing for this hood. Ask your local inspector before skipping a hood.
What utilities does it need?
A 120V, 60 Hz power connection (110 W), a water line and a drain line.
How do I clean it?
Pull the stainless steel grease filter out from the front and wash it in a dishwasher. Atosa does not publish a cleaning interval.
What about certifications and warranty?
Atosa's spec sheet text lists UL and NSF, but the sheet shows no certification marks, and Atosa publishes no separate warranty statement for this hood. Call us if you need either confirmed in writing.
Do you match lower prices?
Yes. Atosa products are covered by our Best Price Guarantee. Call (201) 467-8222 with the lower price.
