Bakers Pride warranty
Bakers Pride publishes one limited equipment warranty for its products in the U.S. and Canada: one year, covering parts, and normal labor by a Bakers Pride authorized service agency.

- The warranty starts at the original installation date, or six months after the unit left the factory, whichever comes first.
- Labor is covered within 50 miles of an authorized service agency, during regular service hours. Travel beyond that and overtime are the owner's cost.
- Not covered: installation and start-up checks, gas or electrical system checks, voltage and phase conversions, fuses and breakers, glass, quartz heating elements and light bulbs, normal wear parts, and units installed or used against the manual.
- Non-OEM parts used without Bakers Pride's approval void the warranty. Some chain-specific equipment carries additional or extended terms.

Who makes Bakers Pride?
Bakers Pride Oven Company, LLC is a wholly owned subsidiary of Middleby, according to the Bakers Pride website. Its July 2026 product guide lists the corporate office as Star Brands, 265 Hobson Street, Smithville, Tennessee, and quotes prices F.O.B. Smithville, TN. Its international warranty also covers the sister brands Star, APW Wyott, Holman, Lang, MagiKitch'n, Toastmaster and Wells.
According to Bakers Pride, the company was founded in The Bronx, New York, in the mid-1940s and invented the modern production pizza oven.

Which Bakers Pride deck oven do you need?
- Deck size: the Y-600 deck is 60" x 36" and the Y-800 deck 66" x 44". Stubby 151-series ovens are only 33" deep overall, for narrow lines.
- Deck height: 7" to 8" decks give the strongest top heat for pizza and most baked goods. 12" decks (ER) suit roasting and tall pans.
- Deck type: ceramic hearth decks give even bottom heat and a crisp finish; steel decks suit roasting and greasy products.
- Thermostat: pizza thermostats run 300Β°F to 650Β°F on gas ovens and 284Β°F to 680Β°F on electric; bake thermostats top out at 550Β°F.
- Output: Y-600 and Y-800 decks are rated 120,000 BTU each; each IL Forno is rated 140,000 BTU.
To size it, Bakers Pride multiplies pizzas per deck by 60 minutes, divides by the bake time, and multiplies by the number of decks. Gas ovens need one 3/4" gas connection per deck, and the IL Forno must not be direct vented.

Which Bakers Pride charbroiler fits your line?
Pick the height first. C-Series countertop charbroilers stand 17" high, L-Series low-profile models 13" high (for lines where height is tight), and F-Series floor models sit on a 34" cabinet base. All three run 15,000 BTU burners from 24" to 72" wide, with stainless steel radiants standard and cast iron radiants or Glo-Stones as options. The CH-6, CH-8 and CH-10 are built for high-volume steakhouses: hand-welded steel plate, 18,000 BTU burners every 4 7/8", cast iron grates standard, and they can be built into brick or stone for an open kitchen.
Certifications and ENERGY STAR
Agency listings (gas, electrical and sanitation) are printed on each model's spec sheet, which you will find on the product page. ENERGY STAR certifies convection, rack and combination ovens only; it has no category for deck ovens or charbroilers. Its commercial ovens list had no Bakers Pride models when we checked.

Is Bakers Pride a good brand?
Bakers Pride has built pizza ovens since the 1940s, and it calls the Y-600 the best-selling deck pizza oven in the world. Its deck ovens use hand-welded angle-iron frames, heavy steel pipe burners and spring-loaded doors, top and bottom heat are adjustable without tools, and Bakers Pride directs parts orders to Parts Town.
The trade-offs: the standard warranty is one year, shorter than some competitors offer, and labor on charbroiler burners, grates and radiants is excluded. Large deck ovens ship by freight on pallets, and Y-600 and Y-800 ovens do not qualify for lift-gate delivery, so plan for a dock or forklift.

Which Bakers Pride countertop pizza oven should I buy?
For reheating slices, wings and par-baked pizza, the PX-14 or PX-16 on 120V is enough. For fresh-dough pizza, the P18S, P22S or brick-lined P22-BL suit small volumes, and the two-deck P44S or P48S doubles output. Without a 208-240V circuit, choose a 120V model or a GP gas oven. Check the deck height against your pans.
