The Berkel 250 is a tabletop chamber vacuum packaging machine with a stainless steel housing and a 15" W x 14" D x 4" H stainless steel chamber. A single 12-1/2" seal bar gives a high integrity double seal, and a 6 m3/h Busch pump with a vacuum dial gauge pulls the air out. Electronic touch pad controls store up to 9 programs.
Leave room beside the machine for packed and unpacked product. It weighs 158 lb., so use a sturdy open-frame table.

The bar seals with a high integrity double seal.
Electronic touch pad controls with up to 9 storable programs. Vacuum time is set from 1 to 99 seconds.
Stainless steel housing and chamber with a clear lid, sized for most foodservice portion control and storage needs.
Clean the chamber, spacers and lid rubber daily. Check the pump oil level in the sight glass weekly and change oil when it changes color.
15" W x 14" D x 4" H, with single 12-1/2" seal bar. Spacers in the chamber center the product height on the seal bar.
115V, 60 Hz, single phase at 6.5 amps, with an attached 6 ft. 3-wire cord and plug for a grounded receptacle.

Berkel's manual lists gas flush as an option with a gas connection adaptor; the gas tank and regulator are not supplied. Ask us to confirm before you order if you need it.
Clean the chamber, spacers and lid rubber daily. Check pump oil weekly in the sight glass and change it when the color changes. Check the seal bar Teflon and silicone rubber for wear.
Berkel covers parts, labor and travel for one year, excluding wear items such as knives, blades and sharpening stones. Repairs go through Hobart Service or a Designated Berkel Service Location.
