A 22"-wide modular nugget ice machine on a 275 lb. bin, making up to 550 lb. of soft, chewable ice a day.
The Coldline NU550 is a modular nugget ice machine head on a 275 lb. storage bin for restaurants, bars, cafes, hospitals and convenience stores that serve soft, chewable ice. It makes up to 550 lb. every 24 hours, stops automatically when the bin is full, and plugs into a 115V outlet with a NEMA 5-15P plug on a 60" cord (11.81 A). A digital controller runs production and the self-clean cycle; the air-cooled system uses R290 refrigerant.
At 74.8" tall, check the ceiling height and the delivery path; the 22" width is its narrowest side.

A grounded 115V outlet for the NEMA 5-15P plug on the 60" cord. The spec sheet rates it at 115V, 60 Hz, single phase, 1199.5 W, 11.81 A. The manual asks for a grounded socket with leakage (ground fault) protection.
A potable cold water line at 13 to 55 PSIG through the 1/4" inlet and a floor drain near the machine. The manual says to add a shut-off valve (not supplied), give the drain pipe a drop of more than 3 cm, install the supplied inlet water filter and replace it every 1 to 3 months, and never use hot water.
It is 22" wide, 29.5" deep and 74.8" tall including the bin. The Coldline manual asks for at least 30 cm (12") in front, 15 cm (6") at the sides and 20 cm (8") behind for airflow.
Indoors only, on a level floor that can carry its weight, away from heat sources and direct sun. The manual rates it for 5 to 40°C (41 to 104°F) rooms and 5 to 35°C (41 to 95°F) supply water, and says to let it stand upright for more than 24 hours after delivery before starting it.
USR Brands covers Coldline ICE-Series ice machines for 1 year parts and labor from delivery, plus 5 years on the hermetic compressor (the replacement part only, not labor), in the contiguous US. Food truck and farm installs are parts only; residential use is not covered. The ice machine warranty names the ICE, NU and EIC series; it does not name storage or dispensing bins, so ask us about bin coverage.
The Coldline ice machine warranty states that USR Brands cannot ship to or guarantee its products in CA, OR, WA, MT, WY or UT. Call us before ordering for one of those states.
