The Atosa MWF9016GR is the largest of Atosa's solid top chest freezers: 15.9 cu. ft. inside a 60-3/10" wide white steel cabinet. It holds -10°F to -1°F, so it suits ice cream as well as frozen meat, fries and other packaged frozen goods in restaurants, delis, convenience stores and caterers. The lid locks, the walls carry 3" of foam insulation and it runs on a standard 115V circuit (2.6 amps).

Measure every doorway and turn on the delivery path; its smallest outside dimension is the 26-1/2" depth. Atosa says never to lay the freezer on its side or turn it upside down.
Locking lid
A key lock on the front of the lid keeps stock secure in a shared storage area.

Holds -10°F to -1°F; Atosa recommends running it between -8°F and 0°F for best food preservation.

Yes. Atosa rates it at -10°F to -1°F and says it is designed for ice cream and frozen food. Atosa recommends a setting between -8°F and 0°F.
How much space does it need?
The cabinet is 60-3/10" W × 26-1/2" D × 32-1/2" H, and about 55-3/4" high with the lid open. Atosa's manual asks for 3" of clearance on each side for airflow.
Does it defrost itself?
No. It is a manual-defrost chest freezer. Atosa says to defrost it when frost on the walls passes 1/4", then drain the water through the drain hole at the bottom.
What does the warranty cover?
Atosa's 2026 refrigeration warranty covers 3 years parts and labor and 5 years on the compressor (sealed parts), from the date Atosa ships it. The older chest freezer sheet shows 1 year parts and labor; call us if you need the term confirmed in writing.
