Made for restaurants, cafés, bars and delis short on space. The FWT-1D-6C holds 6.3 cu. ft. gross behind one door at -8 to 0°F, has a 3.5" backsplash on a 550 lb.-rated top, and plugs into a standard 115V outlet.

Koolmore gives no minimum doorway width. Measure every doorway and turn on the delivery path; the narrowest outside dimension is the 29.5" depth.

Delivery and setup

- Inspect the crate and the unit for damage before signing the delivery receipt, and note any damage on it.
- Keep it upright; Koolmore says not to tilt it more than 45 degrees. After moving it, let it stand for 24 hours before plugging it in.
- Install indoors on a level floor, away from ovens and fryers, with air space behind it (the manual recommends about 3").
- Plug it into its own grounded outlet; Koolmore says not to use an extension cord. Let it reach temperature before loading.
Questions buyers ask
What outlet does it need?
A standard 115V grounded outlet for a NEMA 5-15P plug. It draws 3.6 A. Koolmore asks for a dedicated outlet and no extension cord.
Can I put it under a counter?
It is a freestanding worktop: 35.2" to the work surface and 38.75" to the top of the 3.5" backsplash. Measure the space under your counter first, and leave air space at the back.
Will it fit through my door?
Koolmore does not list a minimum doorway. The unit is 27" wide and 29.5" deep; measure doorways, hallways and turns before ordering.
What temperature does it hold?
-8 to 0°F, set on the digital control, in rooms up to 100°F. Koolmore presets freezers to an average 0°F.
How does defrosting work?
Defrost is automatic: a built-in timer runs an electric defrost on the freezer coil at set intervals.
Can I use it outdoors?
No. Koolmore rates it for indoor commercial use; the manual says outdoor use can reduce efficiency and damage the unit.
What does the warranty cover?
Koolmore lists 1 year parts and labor and 5 years on the compressor, for the original buyer in the US. Clean the condenser coil monthly; the manual says failures from a dirty condenser are not covered.
