A 48" electric griddle with a thermostat on every 12" of plate.
The Vulcan HEG48E is a 48" HEG-E Series heavy duty countertop electric griddle with a 1/2" thick polished steel plate, 48" x 24". Two Incoloy elements and one snap-action thermostat per 12" give 4 zones from 200°F to 450°F, 21.6 kW in total. Vulcan builds it for 208V or 240V single or three phase, or 480V three phase.
Check the counter or stand: the unit needs 48" of width and 31.5" of depth; confirm your voltage and phase before ordering.
A 48" x 24" steel griddle plate, 1/2" thick, with 4" stainless back and tapered side splashes.
4 snap-action thermostats with cycling lights, one per 12", adjust from 200°F to 450°F.
Two sheathed tubular Incoloy elements per 12" zone, 21.6 kW in total.
A 3-1/2" front trough drains to a 1.5 gallon grease drawer.
The front rail stays cool to the touch; stainless front and sides wipe clean.
Vulcan builds the HEG48E for 208V or 240V, single or three phase, or 480V three phase, 50/60 Hz. Specify the voltage when ordering; it draws 21.6 kW.

Vulcan's HEG page lists these griddles as clamshell compatible. The VMCS clamshell needs a matching mounting frame, so ask us to confirm the frame for your griddle before you order.
