The Dukers DCGM48 is a manual-control countertop gas griddle for diners, cafés and breakfast lines. 4 burners of 30,000 BTU heat a 3/4" polished steel plate with a 47.86" × 20.50" cooking area, each 12" section with its own knob. It ships for natural gas with an LP conversion kit in the box.

Thick steel plate
A 3/4" polished steel plate holds heat when cold product goes on. Season it 2-3 times before first use, as the manual describes.

Questions buyers ask
Does it work on propane?
Yes, after conversion. It ships set for natural gas (4" W.C.) with the LP conversion kit included; a qualified gas technician converts it to propane (10" W.C.). Dukers says not to convert it yourself.
What is the total BTU?
120,000 BTU: 4 burners × 30,000 BTU each.
What can I set it on?
Non-combustible surfaces only, with 0" side, 6" rear and 4" floor clearance (the legs provide the floor clearance). Do not block the air openings under the unit.
Is it thermostatic?
No. The DCGM48 has manual knobs that set flame height. Dukers sells thermostatic griddles separately (DCGT series).
What is the difference from the DCGMA48?
Dukers' DCGMA48 is the sister model: 1" plate, 24" deep cooking area. The DCGM48 has a 3/4" plate and a 47.86" × 20.50" cooking area.
How do I season the plate?
Heat to 300-350°F, spread about 1 oz of cooking oil per square foot in a thin film, wipe off the excess and repeat 2-3 times until the surface is slick.
What does the warranty cover?
Dukers' griddle manual covers defects for 1 year; labor runs 1 year from installation or 18 months from factory shipment, whichever comes first, with on-site service within 60 miles of an authorized service company. Dukers' gas warranty requires installation by a professional gas installer and excludes residential use and equipment used outside the continental US.
