Fagor's 2021 sheets add -HC (hydrocarbon, R-290) to bar models, such as FBB-59-N-HC. It is the same unit we list as FBB-59-N.
Read from Fagor model names, product titles and the July 2021 spec sheets. Fagor does not publish a model-number key, and the width class can differ from the actual width, so check the spec table on each product.
Who makes Fagor commercial equipment?
Fagor commercial equipment in the US is sold by Fagor Commercial, also called Fagor Professional USA, at 13105 NW 47th Ave. in Opa-Locka, Florida. According to Fagor, its US corporate office has been in the Miami area since 2001 and its North American factory was established in 2006.
The brand belongs to Fagor Industrial, which says it has made hotel, food service and laundry equipment since 1960. Fagor Industrial is the parent company of ONNERA Group, which reports 9 manufacturing plants, 35 offices and more than 2,200 employees. Fagor Industrial is a cooperative, mostly owned by its workers, and part of MONDRAGON, the largest business group in Spain's Basque Country.
Fagor does not say which plant builds each US model, so we do not state one.

- Refrigeration: Fagor's 2021 sheets show cETLus and ETL Sanitation marks, state that units conform to UL and NSF-7 standards, and carry a DOE 2017 compliance badge.
- Refrigerant: every Fagor refrigerator, freezer, prep table and bar unit we list runs on R-290, a natural hydrocarbon refrigerant.
- Power: Fagor refrigeration comes with an 8 ft. cord and a NEMA 5-15P plug for a standard 115V outlet. CO and COP dishwashers run on 208-240V.
- ENERGY STAR refrigeration: the ENERGY STAR database lists 11 Fagor commercial refrigerator and freezer entries, among them the QVR and QVF reach-ins, the FUR-48-N, FUR-60-N and FUR-72-N undercounters and the FMD-23 merchandiser. Many other models are not listed.
- ENERGY STAR dishwashers: the database lists 8 Fagor commercial dishwashers, including the CO-500W, CO-502W, COP-504W, COP-174W and COP-174W HRS. The CO-402W glasswasher is not listed (its predecessor, the CO-400W, is).

Is Fagor a good brand?
For commercial refrigeration, Fagor is a mid-priced line with a solid warranty: 3 years of parts and labor and 5 years on the compressor across every refrigeration family, the same terms Atosa's 2026 refrigeration warranty gives. Its units run on R-290, plug into a standard 115V outlet and come in many sizes, from 27" undercounters to 93" pizza tables and 95" back bars, with door or drawer versions of most models.
The trade-offs: Fagor's newest US refrigeration sheets date from July 2021, its US website does not show the bar line, only some refrigeration models are ENERGY STAR listed, and the dishwasher sheets do not state warranty terms. For a rebate-driven project or a long-warranty requirement, compare it with a premium line before you buy.
Fagor vs True, Atosa and Turbo Air
- Warranty: Fagor refrigeration is 3 years parts and labor plus 5 years compressor. True foodservice units carry 7 years of parts, labor and compressor (True warranty statement, October 2025), while Atosa matches Fagor at 3 and 5 years (Atosa refrigeration warranty, August 2026).
- Bar line: Fagor offers back bars, kegerators, bottle coolers and glass frosters in black or stainless, including slim line models about 24" deep for tight bars.
- Dishwashers: Fagor also makes commercial dishwashers and glasswashers, so one brand can cover prep, storage, the bar and the dish room.
