TurboChef HHD-9500-801 Double Batch Ventless Impingement Oven, 2 Cavities, Glass Doors, 208/240V 1-Ph, 50A
Description
Two independently controlled impingement ovens in one 27.7-inch-wide countertop unit, with no hood needed for most foods.
The TurboChef Double Batch HHD-9500-801 is the US single phase model with tempered glass doors with Xenon cavity lights. Each of its two cook chambers takes a half-sheet pan or a 16-inch pizza, and each runs on its own settings, so you can cook two different menu items at once. Variable-speed impinged air from top and bottom jetplates and an oscillating rack brown food evenly without hot spots; TurboChef rates it at up to 40 16-inch pizzas per hour. A UL (KNLZ) listed catalytic converter lets it run without a hood for most foods. It plugs into a 208/240V single-phase 50 amp NEMA 6-50 receptacle.

- Venting

- Delivery box
- 40" x 33" x 35", about 320 lb. boxed; needs a 35" doorway

Two independent cavities
Each 18.75" W x 17.13" D x 3.3" H chamber (0.61 cu. ft.) has its own controls, so two menu items cook at once.
Oscillating rack
The rack moves under top and bottom impinged air for high, even heat transfer without spotting. TurboChef calls it a conveyor in a box.
Ventless with catalyst
An internal UL (KNLZ) listed catalytic converter limits smoke, grease and odor. EPA 202 results were 1.05 mg/m3 for pepperoni pizza and 1.91 mg/m3 for sandwiches against a 5.00 mg/m3 limit.
One-Touch controls
Capacitive One-Touch screen with tempered glass cover, customizable images, unlimited recipe storage, USB and built-in self-diagnostics.

With a TurboChef stacking kit two ovens stack 46.4" high on the same 27.7" x 31.7" footprint, for four cavities.
Stainless build
Stainless steel front, top and sides with tempered glass doors; 304 stainless, fully insulated cook chambers; rubber seal for surface mounting.
Delivery and setup
- Free shipping on this item. See our shipping policy for delivery details.
- TurboChef packs it in a double-wall corrugated box banded to a wooden skid. Inspect the box for damage before you sign, and note any damage on the delivery receipt. It weighs about 320 lb. boxed.
- The box is 40" x 33" x 35" and needs at least a 35" entry clearance. Plan enough people or a lift to set the 262 lb. oven on the counter.
- Have a dedicated 208/240V single-phase 50 amp circuit with a NEMA 6-50 receptacle ready. TurboChef notes that the owner must supply voltage as the spec sheet lists.
- Ventless use is up to the local authority having jurisdiction. If you will cook fatty raw proteins such as raw bone-in chicken, raw hamburger, bacon, sausage or steaks, check local HVAC codes first.
- In the box: oven cleaner starter kit (105702) and aluminum paddle (NGC-1478). Oven legs HHB-3205 (set of 4) are optional.
Questions buyers ask
Does the Double Batch need a hood?
No hood is needed for most foods. The oven is UL (KNLZ) listed for ventless operation. TurboChef excludes fatty raw proteins such as raw bone-in skin-on chicken, raw hamburger, bacon, sausage and steaks; for those, check local HVAC codes. Final approval is up to your local authority.
What outlet and circuit does it need?
208/240V, 60 Hz, single phase, 50 amps. It comes with a 6 ft. (nominal) cord and a NEMA 6-50P plug. Max input is 8,320 W at 208V and 9,600 W at 240V.
What fits in each cavity?
Each cavity takes one half-sheet pan or one 16-inch pizza. The cook chamber is 18.75" W x 17.13" D x 3.3" H, 0.61 cu. ft.
How is this model different from HHD-9500-993 and HHD-9500-814-DL?
The HHD-9500-801 has tempered glass doors with Xenon cavity lights and runs on single phase. TurboChef's HHD-9500-993 is the same oven with solid stainless steel doors and no lights, and HHD-9500-814-DL (3-phase) uses the other power supply.
Can I stack two ovens?
Yes. Two Double Batch ovens stack with a TurboChef stacking kit (sold separately). The stack is 46.4" high and about 524 lb. Tell us you plan to stack and we will confirm the kit part number.
How do I clean it?
Clean it daily with TurboChef Oven Cleaner and a nylon pad when it is cool, as the owner's manual describes. The oven runs at up to 550°F, so let it cool first.
What warranty does it have?
TurboChef's North American warranty covers parts and labor for 12 months from the date the oven ships from TurboChef, with on-site repair by an authorized service agent. Consumable accessories such as paddles and cleaning chemicals are not covered.
Do you match lower prices?
