How to read a Vollrath item number
Vollrath 3034230 = Super Pan V · 3 = 1/3 size · 4 = 4" deep · 2 = solid, 22 gauge
Vollrath uses numeric item numbers for smallwares and coded model numbers for equipment. Give us the number from the data plate when you order parts.
- Steam table pans (5 digits): 30 is Super Pan V and 90 is Super Pan 3 (gastronorm). The third digit is the size: 0 full, 2 half, 3 third, 4 fourth, 5 half long, 6 sixth, 9 ninth. The fourth is the depth: 0 = 3/4", 1 = 1-1/4", 2 = 2-1/2", 4 = 4", 6 = 6", 8 = 8". The last digit is 2 for a solid 22 gauge pan, 3 for perforated and 0 for the 20 gauge Super Pan. So 30262 is a half-size, 6" deep solid pan.
- Low profile heat strips: FC-4SH-36208-CO-SW = a 36" strip for 208V; 120 in that spot means 120V. The two letters after it are the housing finish and the last code is the control option.
- Countertop equipment: CT2 and CT4 are conveyor toasters (CT4-2081000 = 208V, about 1,000 slices an hour), PO4 conveyor ovens give the voltage (208, 220 or 240) and belt width (PO4-22018R-L = 220V, 18" belt, right to left), CF2 and CF4 are countertop fryers, GG and CB are gas griddles and charbroilers with the width at the end (GGHDM-36 = 36").
- Serving lines: some 2-Series item numbers end in the width (3873060 = 60", 3872746 = 46"); a T prefix marks sealed-well Deluxe hot stations and R refrigerated cold stations. 6-Series Velocity breath guards start with FC-6BG or SS-6BG.

Who makes Vollrath and where is it made?
The Vollrath Company, LLC makes Vollrath foodservice products. Vollrath traces its start to Jacob Vollrath in 1874, and the company says the Vollrath family has guided it through generations. Its headquarters is at 1236 N. 18th Street, Sheboygan, Wisconsin 53081.
Vollrath lists manufacturing sites in Sheboygan, Kewaunee, Kiel and Dane, Wisconsin, in Maize, Kansas, and in Santa Coloma de Farners, Spain (Pujadas), plus warehouses in Mexico and offices and a warehouse in Shanghai, China. Vollrath does not say which products come from which plant, so check the country of origin on the spec sheet when it matters to you. Its family of brands includes Stoelting Foodservice (frozen treat equipment, since 1905), Pujadas (since 1921), Polar Ware and Vollrath Manufacturing Services.

NSF, electrical listings and ENERGY STAR
- NSF and UL/ETL: listings vary by product. Each product page here shows the listings in its spec table and spec sheet; check them against your health inspector's requirements.
- Voltage: Vollrath builds many units in more than one voltage (heat strips in 120V and 208V, toasters and conveyor ovens in 120V to 240V). Check the voltage and plug on the spec sheet before you order.
- ENERGY STAR: when we checked the ENERGY STAR open data on October 27, 2026, no Vollrath models were listed in the commercial refrigeration, griddle, fryer, combi oven or hot food holding cabinet datasets.

Choosing Vollrath serving and cooking equipment
- Steam tables: count the pans you serve at once (each well holds one full-size 12" x 20" pan), then pick open-well or sealed-well. Sealed wells heat with or without water; open wells use water and a drain. Decide on a storage base, a cutting board shelf and a sneeze guard at the same time.
- Drop-in wells: measure the counter cutout and check whether the well needs a drain and which voltage your counter has. Hot wells, cold wells and hot/cold wells come in 1 to 6 pan sizes.
- Heat lamps: match the strip length to the pass or shelf it covers, and choose single or dual strips for deeper shelves. Infrared strips hold plated food for minutes, not hours.
- Induction: countertop units at 120V suit buffets and sauté stations; 208–240V units give more power for cooking. Induction needs magnetic cookware, so check that your pans work with it.
Is Vollrath a good brand?
Vollrath has made foodservice products for more than 150 years and has its own plants in Wisconsin, Kansas and Spain. The range is wide enough to equip a whole serving line from one brand: tables, wells, heat lamps, sneeze guards, pans and utensils that fit together. Lifetime warranties on its main cookware lines, Super Pan V pans and one-piece utensils back up the smallwares.
The trade-offs: the standard equipment warranty is 12 months, shorter than some cooking equipment makers offer, and glass, acrylic guards and light bulbs are not covered. Induction ranges are replaced rather than repaired under warranty, and Vollrath does not state the country of origin by product line.
Vollrath vs Winco and Vigor
Buyers often compare Vollrath smallwares and cookware with Winco and Vigor. Compare steel type and gauge, riveted or welded handles, induction compatibility and the warranty term: Vollrath lists lifetime coverage for Tribute, Intrigue, Centurion and Classic Select cookware and Super Pan V pans. Call 201-467-8222 and we can compare specific models for you.

Vollrath FAQ
Is Vollrath a good brand?
Vollrath is a long-established foodservice maker: it traces its start to 1874 and is headquartered in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. It makes serving equipment, countertop cooking equipment, cookware and utensils in its own plants. Its main cookware lines, Super Pan V steam table pans and one-piece utensils carry a lifetime warranty, while most equipment carries a 12-month parts and labor warranty.
Is Vollrath made in the USA?
Some Vollrath products are made in the US and some are not. Vollrath lists manufacturing sites in Sheboygan, Kewaunee, Kiel and Dane, Wisconsin, and in Maize, Kansas, plus a plant in Spain and offices and warehousing in China. It does not say which products come from which site, so check the country of origin on each product's spec sheet.
What is the Vollrath warranty?
Vollrath's standard warranty is 12 months parts and labor from its sale to the end user, or 18 months from its sale to the dealer, whichever comes first. Tribute, Intrigue, Centurion and Classic Select cookware and Super Pan V pans have a lifetime warranty. Induction ranges get 2 years replacement, and compressors on refrigerated units get 5 years.
What is the Vollrath tech support phone number?
Vollrath Technical Service handles warranty claims at 800-628-0832, Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Eastern. It also lists 800-354-1970 for warmer products, 800-825-6036 for induction products and 800-309-2250 for conveyor toasters and ovens. Is Vollrath cookware good for induction?
Some of it is. Induction needs a magnetic base, so check each pan's spec table for induction compatibility before you buy. Vollrath sells induction-ready lines and its own Mirage countertop induction ranges. Aluminum pans without a magnetic base will not heat on induction. If you are unsure, call us with the item number and we will check it.
