Questions buyers ask
What can I grind with it?
The PrepPal manual limits it to boneless, skinless beef, pork and venison that is fully thawed. It says poultry, vegetables and cheese can damage the grinder, and frozen meat must not be used.
What plates come with it?
A 1/4" (6 mm) and a 5/16" (8 mm) plate for the #12 head, plus the knife. Spare plates are PrepPal parts PPGP1202 (1/4") and PPGP1203 (5/16").
What outlet does it need?
A grounded 110-115V outlet for the NEMA 5-15P plug. The manual says not to use an extension cord or power strip.
How do I clean it?
Unplug it, take the head apart and wash the tray, ring, plate, knife, auger and feed chute in warm water with mild detergent, then let them air dry. Wipe the base with a damp cloth; do not hose it down.
What does the warranty cover?
Atosa's PrepPal warranty for mixers, slicers and meat grinders gives 1 year parts and labor from the date Atosa ships it (US only).
Do you match lower prices?
